To Our Partners in Family Ministry:

The status of our country is in flux- and our work is needed more than ever!   Families are being torn apart, marriages are disintegrating, and the job outlook is getting bleak.  This is a place we have been in before, and we survived- but not without cost. 

We are in a position to make a difference in our culture by providing places for people to go where they can get help, whether it is spiritually or emotionally.  As those who work in Family Ministry, we have the unique gift and calling to reach out and share the love of Christ with those who are struggling!  The other side of this, though, is that we need help sometimes, and we need each other.  This is where NAFM comes in- we want to be a place where we can walk alongside you, and help you through these times as you help others.  At the Pepperdine Summit, we were able to come together as a Board and refine our focus even more, and point our organization in a more defined direction.  Here is what we want to accomplish:

TO WALK ALONGSIDE FAMILY MINISTRY LEADERS

OUR MISSION:

• TO EXPAND THE NETWORK OF FAMILY MINISTRY LEADERS
• TO EDUCATE THOSE LEADING IN FAMILY MINISTRY
• TO ENCOURAGE THOSE INVOLVED IN FAMILY MINISTRY

OUR STRATEGIES:

• To establish networking groups across the country and even the world.
• To offer education at Summit events.
• To offer Symposiums at Colleges, Universities, and Seminaries
• To provide and share information and networking through the web site
• To make Board members available for training and networking 

This new and clarified vision will help us to focus in a specific way how we can help each other in our individual ministries.  We also made the decision to lower our partnership fees to $29 to help you financially, and to help cover our costs in running an organization.  All of us on the board are volunteers, and want to do what we can to help promote family ministry.  In order to do this, we need your help by partnering with us, and pointing is to others involved in family ministry.
