Julie Kurz | Member, Board of Directors

Julie Kurz is the Consultant for Family & Children’s Ministries for the Rocky Mountain District of the Evangelical Free Church of America, after being a Children’s Director for 17 years in Littleton, Colorado. Julie’s passion is "Reconnecting Parents to the Spiritual Development of their Children". In the Rocky Mountain District, she is vision casting for family integrated ministries; encouraging, networking and mentoring Children’s Directors; equipping and training in Children/Family Ministries, and helping churches find the best resources for their ministry needs.

Julie has been a member of the EFCA’s National Family/Children’s Ministries Council since its inception in 2001. While in Children’s Ministries, Julie did children’s ministry, parenting and marriage training in the Czech Republic and Ethiopia. She was also a part time sales representative for Cook Communications.

Julie has been married to artist, Dave Kurz (www.davekurz.com) for 35 years. They are empty nesters with 3 adult children, and 2 grandchildren.
